Google Sheets and Apps Script, built to run your business

I build registration and payment systems, automations, text message reminders, dashboards, web apps and integrations on top of Google Sheets. It all runs in your own Google account, with no new software for your team to learn.

I built these for my own business first

For six years I ran a local business that took registrations for programs every season. Off-the-shelf software never quite fit how we worked, so I built our registration and payment system on Google Sheets and Apps Script myself.

Families signed up online, paid by card and got a confirmation. Rosters, balances and reminders took care of themselves. That's the kind of system I build for clients now, and why I care about the details an operator notices.

    Registration and payment systems
    • Sign-upsOnline form with session choices, capacity limits and a waitlist
    • PaymentsCard checkout, matched back to the right family automatically
    • EmailsConfirmations, reminders and balance notices sent on their own
    • RostersA clean list per session for every coach or instructor
    • ReportingEnrollment, revenue and who still owes, on one screen

A custom sheet or off-the-shelf software?

Sometimes a subscription app is the right call, and I'll tell you when it is. For a lot of small teams, a well-built sheet is the better fit.

    How a project works

    1. 01

      Tell me the problem

A short note on what you track, who uses it and what takes too long. Share a copy of the sheet if you have one.

    2. 02

Get a plan and a price

I reply with questions, then a written plan of what I'll build and a fixed quote.

    3. 03

      I build on a copy

Work happens on a copy of your file with test data, so your live sheet keeps running.

    4. 04

      Switch over and keep it

We test it together, move it live and you get a short guide to what runs when.

    Frequently asked questions

What kinds of businesses do you work with?

Small businesses, programs, clubs and nonprofits that already keep their work in Google Sheets, or want to. Most have between one and 30 people using the system.

How much does a project cost?

Every project gets a fixed quote before any work starts, based on what the system needs to do. Small automations cost far less than a full registration and payment system. There's no monthly fee from me unless you ask for ongoing help.

Do I need Google Workspace, or does free Gmail work?

Both work. Free Gmail accounts have lower daily limits, like 100 email recipients a day instead of 1,500. I'll tell you before we start if your account's limits will matter.

    Who owns what you build?

You do. The sheet, the code and the data all live in your Google account. Nothing runs on a server of mine.

What if I outgrow Google Sheets?

I'll tell you before building if I think you will. Sheets is a good fit for thousands of rows and a small team. Past that, a real database and app make more sense, and your data moves over cleanly because it's already in tidy columns.

    How do we get started?

Send a short note about what you're tracking and what's eating your time. If you can, share a copy of the sheet. I'll reply with questions, then a plan and a fixed quote.

Can you work with a sheet that has customer data in it?

Yes. I'm happy to work on a copy with sensitive columns removed or replaced with sample data. Card numbers should never be in a sheet at all, and in the systems I build they never are.

Tell me what your sheet needs to do

A few sentences is enough to start. I'll reply with questions, then a plan and a fixed quote.
