Built around one team's process
A three-person service company gets leads from its website, phone calls and referrals. Every lead lands in one sheet, gets assigned, and the owner gets a reminder the next morning. Quotes go out from a menu with the right template, and the dashboard shows which lead sources actually turn into jobs.
Questions about google sheets crm
How many people can use it at once?
Google Sheets handles a small team editing at once without trouble. Past roughly 10 to 15 active users in one sheet, I'd talk about a web app front end or a different tool.
Can it connect to my website's contact form?
Yes. Most website forms can post to an Apps Script web app or send an email the script reads. Either way, each inquiry becomes a row.
Can we move to a bigger CRM later?
Yes. Your data is in a sheet with clean columns, which imports straight into HubSpot, Pipedrive or anything else.
Does it track emails automatically?
It can log emails sent from the sheet. Reading your whole inbox to match conversations is possible but I scope that carefully, because it touches a lot of personal email.
